Our Church Book Club will meet on Zoom
We are continuing to meet during the "shelter in " time via electronic means. The titles of the books selected for this year's discussion should be available for all interested.
The Books that the Book Group is reading in 2020 are as follows:
April 19, 2020 - Invisible by Stephan L. Carter
Deanna, Eleanore, Jennifer, Karen, Olivia, Phyllis, Robin, and Susan met to discuss Invisible, a story about the Hunton family, particularly Eunice. It is a saga about a family that moved in upper-class Harlem society; pioneered in establishing national Black organizations, and enmeshed themselves in political issues and movements.
May 17, 2020 - Oakland Noir edited by Jerry Thompson
On May 17 at noon we will meet to discuss Oakland Noir edited by Jerry Thompson. If you would like to join us let Phyllis or Susan know.
